Barn Blessing and Misc photos ! { www.bridleoaksbarn.com}

Wanted to share some photos with you from this past Sunday
out at Bridle Oaks Barn. We had a barn blessing from Pastor Mike
Coleman. It was very special. We had approximately 65 close
friends and family attend our ceremony. The best part was the
pot-luck afterwards! Pastor Coleman may also hold random
Sunday morning church services out at the altar during the year.
I'll keep you posted for a schedule.
We are counting down the days to our first wedding, Sept 5th !
I believe we have 16 days left to finish our work and get all
the last minute details in place. Crunch Time!
By the way, many have been asking about our website.
We DO have a website up at:
www.bridleoaksbarn.com

Please check it out !

Linens and More.. {Bridle Oaks Barn} {Central Florida Barn Venue}

Alight Folks, this will be the last post from our stylized shoot.
This one features the linens from Lynn at
Linens and More  and table design from Ashley,  our day-of coordinator
 and all around amazing decorator.  She designed and decorated
this table for our shoot. The flowers are from Julia at Julia's Floral Design
It's always good to have vendors close to our venue, and all these
ladies are in Deland. Lynn offers free pickup and delivery of all
linens for your wedding at Bridle Oaks. Ashley will help
you organize, decorate, take down and most importantly,
keep your wedding running on time and help to move
your guests to the areas where they are needed. The worst thing is cutting
your cake with no one around because they are wandering
all over the property ! Keep things organized on on track with
our day-of coordinator, it will be the best decision you will make!
Here, also are some extra photos from our shoot by the
talented Alice of Alice's Art Gallery

Our doors have been built and installed ! { Bridle Oaks barn} {Deland}

Ok, I told you guys I had a little surprise today…. Our double
doors were set up today that the bride will walk through on the
way to the altar !! We also landscaped a large area
behind and around them. It all looks so pretty.
 They are customizable in several spots. Up top you
could hang a flower garland, fabric or paint a quote on wood.
You could even put tiny white lights on them. The possibilities are
endless! We've been so busy this week.
OH !!  One more thing…..
 ! WE PASSED OUR FINAL INSPECTION !
What a great weekend it's going to be...

Have a good one !

Western style Birthday Party at Bridle Oaks { Bridle Oaks, Deland, FL }

My son Preston turns eight on May 1st, so we decided to
have his party at the Bridle Oaks Barn. The kids loved
seeing the donkey, horse and our 13 new little chicks.
I noticed the girls really liked the chicks and the boys liked
the waterside better ! I guess that makes sense. We had
lots of food, a little photo booth area and some crafts for
the kids to do. It was great fun and very nice to have a party
like this somewhere OTHER than your own house.
Which brings me to my next point….. If you'd like
to have your own kids birthday out at Bridle Oaks Barn
 in Deland, please contact Shawna
We look forward to having more parties there!

Bridal Altar under construction ! { Bridle Oaks Barn}

So today was an exciting day at Bridle Oaks Barn !
We have officially started the outdoor altar which is situated
in a beautiful wooded section of the property. Right now this
might look like a pile of old wood to you, but it's going to be an
A M A Z I N G   outdoor altar for all of our brides !
The creation, headed up by our awesome woodworker and all
around "build-it" guy ….   was a collaboration between three people.
Myself,  finding photos of altars I liked, Tigger putting all of our materials together.
 and my father, Ed, had the idea for the angle and location of the altar.
Last in line here is the main photo for my inspiration (thank you Pinterest!)
and the photos of the beginning of something really great!

Thanks for reading!
**More news to come very soon on some cool lighting fixtures…
